Areas of practice and background
Our lawyers who work on any of our files have a minimum of 10 years of practice in Canada.
We work in a number of areas including class actions, commercial and personal injury litigation, and human rights law.
Our files are with the courts in Canada in different provinces, and we also have co-counsel arrangements.
Glyn Hotz, who founded Injury Lawsuits, began working in insurance defence in 2003. He had already worked on the plaintiff side and was able to use his background in defending files to see what should be done and what most personal injury law firms were not doing effectively.
He has litigated major class actions in Canada. He is currently co-counsel on the federal class action against the government for discrimination and anti-Black racism against Black Public Service employees.
For almost two decades, he worked as counsel on a per day basis for Legal Aid, assisting persons who often could not afford a lawyer. He is sensitive to making arrangements and to the needs of our clients and prioritizes the work and result above all else.
He has an LLB (Canada), JD (America), and PhD in Philosophy and Justice, focussing on health law issues.
Our other lawyers are hand-picked for individual files, depending on their strengths and what is needed in each file.
Our clients are our priority.
